I always get the ponzu and sesame oil sauce on the fish and the spicy sauces on the side. Another time the gal just mixed everything in so it looked like I already dug into it but did not take a bite yet. One time mine was made neatly, layers upon layers of ingredients that make the poke powl enjoyable.
Whoever makes your poke bowl depends on the day. But you can choose any combination or have the same 5 scoops of one fish. I always get the large poke bowl ($11.99, 2017 price) that includes 5 scoops of fish: two scoops of raw salmon, one scoop spicy mashed tuna, one scoop of seared ahi, one scoop of cubed ahi tuna. It is next to Donburi café, serving ramen and Korean food.
This one is Poki Star and it is a hit with the downtown workers like me. Poke bowls are popping up all over the place in Long Beach.
